We hear so often about lip fillers gone wrong. Wrong shape, wrong filler, wrong size – too much, not enough. It’s not that easy to find an injector who knows exactly what they’re doing and makes your lips just the way you want them. Jennifer has had a journey to get to where she is, but she’s now so happy with her lips and wanted to share her story with us.
Trends change over the years – that includes what fillers are made out of and how they are injected. Silicone used to be considered the “magic” ingredient and was extremely popular with all the movie stars back in the late 80’s through to the 90’s and even early 00’s. However, while it’s still quite a controversial topic, it’s generally agreed by most aesthetic physicians that silicone is NOT good for injecting into your lips. Jen jumped on the silicone bandwagon when she lived in the US. “Many moons ago I had silicone put in my lips, I lived in Los Angeles for about 20 years and it was common in the 90’s over there.”
Silicone Lip Injections
Silicone injections tend to look ok for the first few years. However, silicone tends to move and drop down and it can cause the lips to thicken. Jen says, “Over the years they became very distorted. No surgeon would touch them until the amazing Dr John Flynn. I adore him for what he has done.”
Jen says she’s over the moon about her results, and as you can see by the before and after photo, the difference is amazing. Jen says, “This was done only two months ago, he said it could take up to 6 months for final results, but I’m already so happy. I thank this amazing surgeon for making me natural again and SILICONE FREE 🥂👌❤️”
